Stephen Burnside
Managing Director
Stephen joined IKANO as Managing Director in 2006. He began his career with Barclays Bank and Pitney Bowes and then spent 13 years with Experian as part of the team that grew the UK credit information business from a £70m company to a global information solution business with a turnover in excess of £1billion. Stephen's roles included International Sales and Marketing Director, President of the Experian Decision Analytics business in North America and EMEA Managing Director. He speaks Norwegian and has been closely associated with IKANO since 1993 when the company decided to expand into the UK market.
Alison Chmiel
Deputy Managing Director
Alison's career to date spans a range of industries and functions. She has worked for IBM and Reuters in IT, operations, sales, finance and business development roles. She has been with IKANO since 2003 and is responsible for shared services including finance, legal, IT, HR and the project office.
Andy Allan
Operations Director
Andy joined IKANO in 2007 from Alliance & Leicester where he headed up the retail Collections function. Andy has significant experience in collections, recoveries, customer contact centre management, compliance and process redesign/implementation. In addition to his time at Alliance & Leicester he spent 5 years at Capital One and 4 years at Abbey.
Daniel Joy
Commercial Director
Dan joined IKANO in 2008 from Fairpoint Group where he was Managing Director - Partnerships. Dan was one of 4 Directors who took Clear Start, a fledgling business of 10 people at start-up to 100+ person company and subsequent trade sale to Fairpoint. Prior to Fairpoint he created and developed Medi-Fi, a finance broker and lender. Dan has also spent over 3 years at Capital One and 5 years in the insurance industry.
